Zack Tzourtzouklis is an accomplished filmmaker with over a decade of experience and a deep passion for the art of visual storytelling. Known for his ability to craft emotionally resonant narratives through bold visuals and precise editing, Zack’s work spans documentary features, narrative films, music videos, and commercials.
He began his career working on a diverse range of short-form projects, quickly building a reputation for technical excellence and creative problem-solving on set and in the edit suite. In 2019, Zack made his feature documentary directorial debut with FIRE—a project he directed, shot, and edited entirely on his own. The film became a turning point, opening the door to new creative collaborations and setting the stage for his future in long-form nonfiction storytelling.
Since then, Zack has become a sought-after creative partner on multiple award-winning documentaries. He served as Editor, Director of Photography, and Co-Producer on BASTARDS OF SOUL (2025), a music documentary hailed for its electrifying energy and emotional depth. The film premiered at the Sun Valley Film Festival, made its East Coast debut at Dances With Films, and had its Texas premiere at the Dallas International Film Festival, including a special screening at the historic Texas Theatre.
He is also the Editor and Co-Producer of the highly anticipated 4-part docuseries BALANCE (2026), and has edited critically acclaimed feature documentaries including FOR THE ANIMALS (2023) and SURVIVING SEX TRAFFICKING (2022).
